"Amazing love, how can it be? That you my King would die for me."
My heart leaps every time I hear these words. Why would Jesus die for me? Full of sin, undeserving of love from the King of kings, LORD of Lords and He DIED for me! For me and for you. No matter where you are, what you've done, what you haven't done, or what you've become God loves you and He sent His Son, His one and only Son to die for your sins and provide you with the forgiveness that will allow you to stand in the presence of the Almighty and live forever.
Oh glorious day!
On a sunny day in May "He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire; He set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand. He put a new song in my mouth, a hymn of praise to our God." Psalm 40:2-3. 21 years later I am still amazed at His love. How can it be that the King of kings, the Son of the Most High God would die for me?
Praise you LORD, Jesus! You are my everything!
